Committee calls for hydrogen strategy to take global lead
The growth of the hydrogen industry risks being scuppered unless the government brings forward a strategy for the fledgling sector in this autumn’s budget, the chair of Parliament’s Environmental Audit Committee has warned business and energy secretary Alok Sharma. Philip Dunne expressed concerns that the lack of a “clear vision” risks handing the lead to global rivals like Japan and Australia.
