Dong and Siemens sign big wind turbine deal

Dong Energy has signed an agreement with Siemens for the supply of up to 300 turbines rated at 6MW each. The turbines will all be used in UK offshore projects between 2014 and 2017. Support under the renewables obligation is currently set to close to new projects in 2017.
