EDF Energy to furlough around 400 field workers
EDF Energy has confirmed its intention to furlough around a third of its nearly 1,200 field workers in the UK whilst giving assurances they will retain 100 per cent of their normal salary and benefits. Those who are not furloughed will continue to work as either on-call emergency staff or volunteers for community schemes, for example, delivering medication to the sick and elderly.
