Electrolysis could provide affordable green hydrogen
ITM Power chief executive Graham Cooley has claimed electrolysis powered by renewables could supply low-carbon hydrogen for as little as £48/MWh by the end of the next decade. He told Utility Week this would be cheaper than extracting hydrogen from natural gas and storing the resulting carbon dioxide emissions.
