Renewable electricity supplier Good Energy has reached 30,000 customers. In a trading update the firm said gains represented an annualised growth rate of 12 per cent. Gas accounts have also increased to 6,700. Combined, the two represent annual growth of 18 per cent, according to the firm.

Good Energy also reported growth in Feed-in tariff (FIT) generators, to 38,500. The firm is one of the UK’s largest FIT licensees and receives revenue for administering the scheme and payments to microgenerators.

CEO Juliet Davenport said the firm was “on course for a strong first half performance and we expect this momentum to continue throughout the year.”
