Net zero is nowhere in sight in UK clean heat policy
While the UK can claim to be in Europe’s vanguard for decarbonisation of electricity it is one of the continent’s laggards when it comes to clean heating. Its recent proposals for transitioning to low-carbon heating are unlikely to improve the situation, according to Jan Rosenow and Samuel Thomas of the Regulatory Assistance Project.
