Ofgem mulls ban on forced PPM installations
Ofgem’s retail team is considering the option of banning energy suppliers from moving vulnerable customers onto prepayment meters (PPM), an executive at the regulator has told Utility Week. Meanwhile, a director at Ofwat has updated on plans to develop a customer-focused licence condition this year.
