Shock tactics needed to provoke behaviour change
To effectively help people change how they use water, messaging should be "serious and potentially shocking" to convey the starkness of water shortages, research by CCW has shown. It reviewed public reaction to a range of tones and styles to encourage people to change their behaviour.
