Ofwat has appointed Bethan Evans as its first ever head of Wales to ensure its regulatory approach reflects the specific circumstances in the country. The chartered accountant, who currently works at KPMG, will join the water regulator from 1 September as it seeks to establish a permanent presence in Wales so it can better participate in policy discussions and strengthen its relationships with stakeholders.
