Net-zero-focused innovation challenge launched

Driving down operational greenhouse gas emissions from water and wastewater treatment plans is the focus of the first innovation challenge launched by the water sector's centre of excellence, Spring. Ideas that can bring about a reduction in operational emissions as part of the water sector's journey to net zero are being invited until 14 March.

Spring, the water sector’s centre of excellence, has officially launched as an online facility to develop, incubate and share innovative ideas to solve the most pressing issues the industry faces.
