Water Resources West (WRW) has said it is confident the area can support transfers within and outside of its region as the country faces a drier future. Regionally the west and northwest of England and Wales face less risk of water shortages in the coming century than other areas but managing demand will be crucial to protect waterbodies and support aquatic life.
