SES Water has earned its second biodiversity benchmark award from The Wildlife Trust for a supply site in Surrey. The company remains the only water company to attain the mark after it first gained one for a treatment site and aims qualify with a reservoir before the end of AMP7.

SES Water has been awarded Biodiversity Benchmark accreditation from the Wildlife Trusts for the second year for its water treatment works in Leatherhead. The site in Surrey boasts six protected habitats that are home to endangered species including dormice and slow worms. The company is working to gain accreditation for two further sites during the current AMP cycle.
