Vouchers or charity donations on offer to survey participants

1          Promoter

1.1  This free prize draw (the “Promotion”) is organised by Faversham House (the “Promoter”) and administered by Insight Advantage Limited (the “Administrator”).

1.2 All correspondence regarding the Promotion should be sent to support@insight-advantage.co.uk marked “Utility Week Prize Draw.”

2          Eligibility

2.1 Open to UK residents aged 18 or over only. Employees of the Promoter and the Administrator and their immediate families or anyone else professionally connected with the Promotion are not permitted to enter.

3          Entry details and Customer Identifiable Information

3.1 You will be entered into the prize draw if you enter your name and email address when prompted at the end of the survey and click on the Submit button. No purchase necessary.

3.2 Only one entry per person.

3.3 The closing date is 12:00pm on Wednesday 20 December 2023 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after this date will not be valid.

3.4 The Customer Identifiable Information is collected by the Administrator for the sole purpose of administering the prize draw

3.5  Apart from the Customer Identifiable Information about the prize draw winners that has to be retained for corporation tax purposes, all other Customer Identifiable Information will be destroyed by the Administrator within 90 days of the project completion date

4          The Prizes

4.1 You could win one of four £50 vouchers for Amazon, Terms and conditions apply. Alternatively, winners may choose for Utility Week to make a £50 donation to a charity of their choice.

4.2 The prize is non-transferable and the winner cannot request any alternative prize (cash or otherwise).

4.3 In the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value.

5          Winner Selection and Contact

5.1 The winners will be drawn at random on Thursday 11 January 2024 from all complete entries received before the Closing Date.

5.2 The winners will be notified by email within 14 days of the draw using the contact details provided at the time of entry.

5.3 The names of the winners will be available on request from the Administrator.

5.4 If, for whatever reason, a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the prize draw, the prize will lapse and the Promoter may (but shall not be obliged to) offer the unclaimed prize to a runner up selected in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

6          Liability

6.1 The Promoter and Administrator and their employees and agents, accept no responsibility for:

6.1.1 loss or non-delivery of prizes sent by email;

6.1.2 any failure to fulfil obligations of any third parties involved in the Promotion;

6.1.3 any fault, malfunction, damage, loss, injury, liabilities, expense or disappointment suffered by the participants in the Promotion howsoever arising from participating in the Promotion;

6.1.4 any system failures of the website or third party websites;

6.1.5 if for any reason any website or app in connection with the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include without limitation, infection by computer, virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion; and

6.1.6 any other matter outside of the Promoter’s and/or Administrator’s reasonable control.

6.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall:

6.2.1 affect your statutory rights; and

6.2.2 exclude the liability of the Promoter and the Administrator for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation caused by negligence of the Promoter and/or Administrator.

7          General

7.1 If deemed necessary, due to reasons outside its reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or extend or suspend this Promotion.

7.2 The Promoter reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time on giving notice through www.utilityweek.co.uk

7.3 By entering this Promotion you: (a) accept these Terms and Conditions; and (b) consent to the use of your personal data by the Promoter and the Administrator for the purposes of administration of the prize draw (including publishing your name and county if you are the winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented.

7.4 The Promoter’s decision will be final in respect of all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

7.5 The Promotion is governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
