Wastewater injection causes ‘larger earthquakes’ than fracking, finds report

Disposal of wastewater from shale gas extraction by deep injection could cause earthquakes measuring up to five on the Richter scale, larger than the fracking process itself, the Shale Gas Task Force has warned.
