Yorkshire Water to end incinerator reliance by 2020

Yorkshire Water is looking to increase the amount of sewage its treats at its newly opened anaerobic digestion plant in Leeds. The company plans to cease its use of incinerators by next year as more waste can be treated at the plant and converted to biogas to generate electricity.
