Anglian Water awards contract to three suppliers

Anglian Water has awarded a multi-million pound framework contract to three suppliers following a competitive tender process.

The company has replaced its previous Motor Control Centre (MCC) framework for controls and automation solutions with a new style of collaborative framework.

It is now in place and consists of CEMA Ltd, Paktonic and new members, TES Group.

The framework will be for a maximum of 10 years and during that time it will move through three key phases: current, betterment and innovation.

Clare Fane, framework integration manager, said: “I’m excited about the opportunity with this new 10-year framework. We’re focused on getting it right from the start as it’s central to a significant number of Anglian Water processes.

“That’s why the new collaborative working group for the framework held a two-day workshop, aimed at forming strong partner relationships and planning how to work together,” she added.

“The new framework will impact on automation and control of works, operations and data management, telemetry and other areas, as well as the partners interacting with the wider equipment and component supply chain.”
