Anglian Water names final AMP6 partners

The final members of its Integrated Maintenance and Repair alliance have been named as: Clancy Docwra; Claret Civil Engineering; Danaher & Walsh; and Public Sewer Services.

These firms will responsible for Anglian Water’s water recycling infrastructure maintenance work, and join the Kier MG – which will work alongside Clancy Docwra – in carrying out the water infrastructure maintenance work in the IMR alliance. This deal was agreed in November.

The overall IMR contract will be worth £200 million over the next five years, with the possibility to be extended out over to 2030.

Anglian Water head of capital delivery Jason Tucker said: “Confirming our partners for the final alliances brings our tier one AMP6 procurement process to its conclusion.

“We’re confident the carefully selected partners, across all four of our alliances, are the best suited to meet our targets and the expectations of our customers, to drive innovation and efficiency throughout our processes, and to work collaboratively over the next 15 years.”

Kier MG and Clancy Docwra have already secured a £250 million contract from Anglian Water to the domestic and business metering programme, as well as laying new mains and installing new water connections to housing developments.

Anglian Water has already agreed a £1.3 billion contract with Balfour Beatty; Barhale; Grontmij; MMB; MWH; and Skanska in the integrated main works capital alliance which will focus on large scale and complex projects.

A £200 million contract was also awarded to Barhale, Kier MG, and Morrison Utility Service to deliver the majority of the small replacement and refurbishment projects.
