Anglian Water names more AMP6 partners

Barhale, Clancy Docwra, Kier MG, and Morrison Utility Services all signed contracts with the water company on Tuesday.

Clancy Docwra and Kier MG will deliver Anglian Water’s Integrated Metering and Developer Services (IDMS) programme, as part of a £200 million deal for AMP6.

These companies will deliver the domestic and business metering programme, as well as laying new mains and installing new water connections to housing developments.

Barhale, Kier MG and Morrison Utility Services have signed a £250 million deal to deliver Anglian Water’s Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) programme, which will deliver the majority of the small replacement and refurbishment projects.

Jason Tucker, head of capital delivery and supply chain management for Anglian Water, said: “We are determined to deliver maximum efficiency and satisfaction for our customers by working closely with these carefully selected organisations to drive innovation.”

The contracts that have been agreed for the AMP6 period may run for a total of 15 years, with each agreement being reviewed and each five-year AMP period.

In the spring, the company confirmed Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Grontmij, MMB – a joint venture of Mott MacDonald and JN Bentley – MWH and Skanska as partners to deliver its Integrated Main Works Capital (IMWC) programme.
