Octopus Energy’s appointment of Ofwat chief executive Rachel Fletcher "heralds a change in energy", the supplier’s chief executive has told Utility Week. It was recently announced that Fletcher would be stepping down from her position at Ofwat to become Octopus’ director of regulation and economics.
Good Energy chief executive Juliet Davenport has announced she will step down from her role at the company she founded more than 20 years ago. Davenport will remain in place until a successor is found to lead the "transition to a true mid 21st century energy as a service business". She will the take up a non-executive director position with the company as well as its subsidiary Zap-Map.
