Three engineering consultants have won places on two frameworks set up to deliver professional services, asset management and construction projects across the utilities sector.
The frameworks, worth a combined £1.25 billion, cover projects in water, renewables, gas, electricity and nuclear – as well as works on ports, railways, aviation and telecommunications.
Perfect Circle and AtkinsRéalis (who will be supported by Arcadis) have been appointed to deliver a £750 million framework for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
While Perfect Circle and Arcadis (supported by AtkinsRéalis) have been appointed to a £500 million Scotland framework.
Run by public sector procurement body Scape, the frameworks will last for an initial four years with the option to be extended by another two years.

The Scape Utilities Consultancy frameworks will now enter the mobilisation phase, with clients anticipated to begin using these frameworks from the end of April 2024.
