Customer debt levels ‘worse in Covid’

United Utilities has seen the number of billpayers reaching out for support during the cost of living crisis rise but this has not translated to bills being unpaid. Director of revenue Michelle Atkinson said the support available means people are accessing help before sliding into water poverty
