EDF Renewables purchases solar developer

EDF Renewables has acquired solar developer SAS Energy, helping strengthen its position in providing renewable energy to industrial and commercial power customers. Kent-based SAS Energy currently has 47 projects in development, which are set to generate just under 20MW. According to the developer’s website, SAS already has 35 projects around the country.
