Electralink, the company responsible for operating the data hub underpinning the UK energy market, has secured a contract to assist the Gas Safety Trust (GST), Council for Registered Gas Installers (CORGI) and Gas Industry Safety Group (GISG) to improve health and safety and awareness of gas safety.
Electralink will provide management, lobbying and finance support services.

“This work will complement Electralink’s existing range of services and expertise which it provides to the energy market to raise standards, to encourage competition and to facilitate change.”

GST, CORGI and GISG will be operated from Electralink’s offices in central London providing a flexible base for a dedicated services team.
Electralink already delivers several code management and collective IT services to the energy market including:
- The Data Transfer Service (DTS)
- The Supply Point Administration Agreement (SPAA)
- The Distribution and Use of System Agreement (DCUSA)
- The Meter Asset Management Code of Practice (MAMCoP)
- The Distribution Charging Methodologies Development Group (DCMDG)
- The Smart Metering Installation Code of Practice (SMICoP)
- The Theft Risk Assessment Service (TRAS)
