Not-for-profit organisation Energy & Utility Skills, which brings industry leaders together to identify and address the skills challenges the sector faces has launched an online registration system for its skills register to improve efficiency.
The new system called QuartzWeb, launched on Monday (25 March), “improves efficiency and enhances the service for the Energy & Utility Skills Register’s [EUSR) providers, trainers and employers”.
EUSR says QuartzWeb will automate several manual processes, including online registration.
Approved providers and trainers will be able to submit both bulk and single registrations, track the progress of their registration submissions, and be reminded of key outstanding actions.
Carole Bishop, head of registration services, said: “We’re excited to launch the new online registration service, another step on our journey of improving our service to all of our customers in the energy and utilities sector.
“It builds on the investment we’ve already made over the last couple of years including a new website, refreshed branding, recruitment of assessment and quality experts, and development of new and existing schemes.
“As a tried and tested system in the world of education and skills, we have worked with the very best specialists to develop the new service and enhance the user experience. We believe that it simplifies and speeds up core key processes and adds real value.”
