First Utility cuts fixed price tariff again

First Utility undercut the competition with its isave Fixed November 2016 tariff at £848, £42 cheaper than its previous fixed tariff the isave Fixed October v2 which was announced just last month.

The new deal is £2 lower than the previous cheapest deal on the market, offered by Extra Energy.

First Utility’s chief customer officer Ed Kamm said: “We are proud to offer the best fixed price in the country. With winter on the way, this is a great time for people to check they’re on the best energy tariff for them and can take advantage of the often large savings available.”

The supplier recently provided the winning bid to collective switch the Big Deal when it provided the collective’s 70,000 members with a one year fixed tariff for £885.

The average customer could save £284 a year by switching to First Utility, the supplier said.
