Flogas Britain rebrands its mains gas business

Flogas Britain has relaunched its mains gas business division under a new name, Flogas Energy, along with revamping its bills and launching a new website.

The company, which supplies liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) to a wide range of business and domestic consumers across Britain, says the move is aimed at enhancing its customer service – making it easier for both new and existing customers to manage their supplies, contact their account manager and find out more about what is on offer.

Lee Gannon, managing director at Flogas Britain and Flogas Energy said: “These are really exciting times for Flogas Britain and Flogas Energy as we draw on our extensive energy expertise to deliver an even more effective and efficient mains gas service for our business customers.”

The Leicester-based supplier has been providing off-grid energy to 110,000 customers across Britain for over 30 years. Whereas Flogas Energy opened for business in 2015 using competitive fixed pricing, it will be run as a division of Flogas Britain Limited and is part of the multi-national DCC PLC.

To celebrate the re-launch, the company is automatically entering all customers supplied with Flogas Energy by June 18 into a free prize draw to win £2,000.

Flogas Energy is also rolling out an additional social media competition where anyone using the hashtag #energytogether before April 30 this year will be in with a chance of winning £200 of high street vouchers.

Last month Flogas acquired H.Newman’s Ltd, a bottled gas dealer based in Kettering as part of the business’s expansion drive.

It recently experienced delays in gas supplies due to the fallout of Storm Emma, which attracted a backlash on Twitter, despite only 3 per cent of its customers being affected.
