Former Nissan manager takes up role at Innogy eMobility UK

Technology and service provider Innogy eMobility Solutions has appointed Karl Anders as the managing director of its new subsidiary company Innogy eMobility UK Ltd, which was founded last year.

Anders has previously worked at Nissan as the national EV manager at Nissan Fleet.

Stefan von Dobschütz, chief channel officer of Innogy eMobility Solutions GmbH, said: “I am very pleased to have secured an acknowledged expert in the British electric vehicle sector as our managing director.

“With his excellent networks and extensive experience, he is well placed to expand the growth of our eMobility business in the United Kingdom.

“With Karl at the helm and our innovative solutions, we can now hit the ground running in the UK.

“We have a wonderful, highly motivated team to carve out a successful future in this exciting market.”

Innogy eMobility UK acts as a technology and service provider with an “extensive eMobility hardware and software portfolio”.

The company is a supplier to several major automobile manufacturers and has already started the rollout for the Audi UK dealer network.

Speaking in response to his appointment, Anders said:“I look forward to being able to offer our customers an attractive portfolio of products featuring state-of-the-art Innogy technology. “

According to a report published last week, the proposed acquisition of Innogy by Eon is “on track” and will make the company Europe’s largest energy supplier once completed.

The analysis, published by S&P Global Ratings, also stated the business risk profile of the combined entity will be stronger than its predecessors’ and that of its other large European peers.
