Green Investment Bank appoints Robert Mansley as managing director

Mansley will have responsibility for developing capital market opportunities and third party investor relationships within the sector.

Prior to his appointment with GIB, Mansley worked as the managing director at Morgan Stanley where he was head of European renewables. He also spent ten years at Credit Suisse, and has executed over 40 transactions worth in excess of $30bn in the power, utility and renewable sectors.

Speaking about the GIB, Mansley said: “I have been truly impressed by the development of the Green Investment Bank establishing such a high quality team and starting to successfully execute on its meaningful mandate to support the UK’s renewable energy sector.”
