Higher FIT tariff for small generators producing biogas; wind and hydro unchanged
Small anaerobic digesters (AD), which convert organic material such as farm waste into biogas used to generate electricity, will receive higher payments for the electricity they generate under changes to the feed-in tariff scheme announced by the Department for Energy and Climate Change.
