Hosepipe ban in South East following record demand
South East Water has imposed a hosepipe ban after demand surges left customers with low or no supply. The company said usage has broken previous records as treatment plants worked around the clock to keep up with consumption. Anglian has also said demand is up 20% as it asks customers to be mindful of their usage.
