As Ofwat closes its further consultation on design and implementation of a new £200m innovation fund for the water sector, Utility Week will host a timely webinar to examine the sector’s rising ambition to maximise the fund’s impact.

The webinar, conducted in association with CGI, will explore the sentiment of industry chief executives about the fund, captured in Utility Week’s recent Grasping the Opportunity report and consider how Ofwat’s latest consultation may have allayed concerns and uncertainties about its mechanics.
A panel of industry experts will also share insights into work to develop a sector-wide innovation strategy and talk about the most important trends or challenges they believe early bids to secure funding should latch onto in order to drive innovation with impact.

Speakers will include:
– John Russell, senior director strategy and planning, Ofwat
–  Steve Kaye, chief executive, UK Water Industry Research
–  Andrea Gysin, head of research development and innovation, Thames Water
–  Stuart Brand, vice president water and market services, CGI

Audience questions can be submitted throughout the event.
