National Grid and Shell look at hydrogen gas generated by wind farms
National Grid and Shell are looking at generating hydrogen using excess wind power and feeding it into the UK gas network. The two firms have joined a £164,000 feasibility study lead by ITM Power part funded by the Technology Strategy Board.
