Ofgem rules out rollover for gas price controls
The energy regulator has said it is too risky to extend the RIIO-2 price controls for gas networks by two years. Ofgem had considered the move due to uncertainty around future development of gas networks but has now backed another ex-ante price control from 2026, although has yet to confirm how long this would run for.
