What was your first job?

Working in retail with children’s clothing – I have worked with customers from the start of my career.

What are the best and worst parts of your job?

Best: making a difference and helping people and the organisation to achieve their/its full potential. Worst: you have to take the rough with the smooth, but I do get frustrated when things don’t happen as quickly as I think they should.

What’s your dream job and why?

Maybe the editor of Vogue, it’s a great brand with a great reputation, and you would also have the chance to meet lots of interesting people.

What’s your most treasured possession?

It might sound a bit humdrum, but I would have to say my friends and family.

Where did you last go on holiday?

Mexico. We chilled out and relaxed for ten days in the sun, although I did take work with me, because it’s a good chance to think things through and come up with some new ideas and plans.

In the Hollywood film of your life, who would play you?

As long as the wardrobe assistant picked out some fabulous glamorous outfits, I wouldn’t mind.

Reveal something about yourself not many people know.

I ran the London Marathon in 2011. It proved to me that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it.

What album is currently in your car CD player?

Emeli Sande, Our Version of Events. I thought she was great at the Olympics.

What’s your favourite film and TV programme?

I’ve been watching David Attenborough’s Galapagos, which is about constant change and evolution.

What quote or saying do you most overuse?

“Do you have a plan?” and “When will you deliver that?”

If you ruled the world, what would you do first?

It’s not a job I would happily do because you can never please everyone.

What’s your favourite joke?

Why did the turkey cross the road? To prove he wasn’t a chicken.
