Statkraft sells 49 per cent stake in UK onshore wind

Statkraft said in a statement that it will continue to operate and manage the three operational wind farms, but that the 23 MW Alltwalis, 52.5 MW Baillie and 66.7 MW Berry Burn will now be structured under a new holding company.

Wind UK Invest will be owned 51 per cent by Statkraft and 49 per cent by Gingko Tree.

Statkraft executive vice president Jon Brandsar said that the company continues to have ambitions for firm growth within the wind power industry.

“This agreement enables further growth through project development while at the same time maintaining our industrial role“, Brandsar added.
