Thames Water tenders £900m infrastructure contract

The tender includes extension options running into the AMP7 and AMP8 periods.

The water company– the largest in the UK – is looking to procure a small number of multi-disciplinary infrastructure alliance members to deliver its AMP6 business plan.

The work will cover areas including the maintenance of its clean water network, including network repair, rehabilitation and maintenance, leak detection, metering activities as well as the construction of new mains.

It will also consist of developer services, customer and stakeholder contact service and management, planning, logistics, scheduling and programme management.

The contract will include the option to extend the arrangements to the AMP7 and AMP8 business plans, while contract winners may also be required to carry out current AMP5 work

Applicants have until the July 16 to submit responses to the participation requirements.
