The latest collective switch tariff with LoCO2 Energy costs participants just £824 per year – a saving of £239 from a big six standard variable tariff.
LoCO2 Energy will reinvest some of the money made from this tariff in new renewable energy projects, including small-scale hydroelectric plants through their sister company TLS Hydro.

The company added that the deal comes as the government approves a new nuclear reactor at Hinkley Point, despite renewable technologies such as solar power being “significantly cheaper”.
In October last year The Big Deal, in partnership with campaign group 38 Degrees, carried out the largest ever mass consumer switch to green energy of 10,000 households. The customers who took part saved a total of £1.3 million on their bills.
