Sewage discharges have been a major source of contention throughout the UK in recent years, with water companies increasingly coming under fire for their handling of the situation. Sustainability First’s head of water warns that the “media and political feeding frenzy on sewage” makes it difficult to separate fact from hyperbole and form a balanced judgement of the best way forward.
