Transmission Capital Partners in line for £282 million offshore wind connection

The Lincs wind farm project is owned by a consortium of Centrica, Dong Energy and Siemens Project Ventures. TCP’s connection to the wind farm is valued at £282 million.

The project is part of a group pf tenders for connections for three major offshore windfarms that together will have a capacity of 1.4GW. The other projects in the group are London Array (Phase 1) and Gwynt-y-Mor.

The Reserve Bidder for the project is National Grid Offshore Consortium (a consortium of National Grid Offshore Ltd, Britel Fund Trustees Ltd and Universities Superannuation Scheme Ltd).
