Water firms to pay £150m after ‘falling short’ on ODIs
Water regulator Ofwat has imposed financial penalties totalling c£150 million to reflect missed performance commitments by 11 companies across the water sector. Thames and Southern will return the largest amounts to customers via bills, while Severn Trent earned more than £60 million in outperformance for 2021/22.
