Water firms urged to step up emissions ambitions for PR24
Ofwat has called for more companies to include greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets in their business plans for 2025-30 as bespoke performance commitments. So far only South West has submitted a proposal that Ofwat believes to have potential. The regulator assessed bespoke commitments but only gave the green light to seven of 42.
