WWT Webinar: The Right Tool For The Job: Pipe Inspection With Scottish Water & Xylem

Xylem will introduce several of its technologies for assessing the condition of pipeline assets and Scottish Water will present selected case studies on deploying Xylem’s solutions.

Xylem will introduce several of its technologies for assessing the condition of pipeline assets showing how they support water companies to deliver better asset management.

From detecting leakage and pipe condition to providing a real-time warning system, a roster of technology is out there to help water companies manage key assets.

Scottish Water will present selected case studies showing how it has deployed Xylem’s technology across its network. The utility’s Water Service Strategy Trunk Mains team of experts looks after 6,700 kilometres of large-diameter mains. In each use case, Scottish will describe the challenges faced and benefits it has realised through deploying Xylem’s tools.

The projects included creating a criticality profile of long-life assets. Then using the profile to target investment achieving maximum risk control and delivering high quality drinking water consistently.
