While rates for solar PV have been reduced, AD plants that are rated at less than 250kW will receive payments up from 12.7p per kWh in 2010/11 to 14.7p per kWh.
Mid scale AD plants, rated between 250kW and 500kW, will see their payments increase from 12.7 p per kWh to 13.6 p per kWh. The higher payment will be made for plants that started up after 30 September 2011 and remains in place for 2012/13.
Tariffs for AD plants rated about 500kW remain unchanged at 9.9 p per kWh.
Feed in tariffs for other small generation projects, including wind farms and small hydropower projects remain unchanged.
