May sees new record low for switching

The number of electricity switches between suppliers has fallen to a new all-time low as soaring wholesale prices continued to limit consumers' choices, the latest figures from Electralink have shown. A record monthly low was also reported by trade body Energy UK in its switching numbers for May.
